Hoard Desires

Every great army begins as a list of longing. Your Hoard Desires list is the muster roll of pigments yet to be claimed — the colours you have your eye on for the next campaign. Bookmark a paint anywhere in the Forge and it lands here, ready for the day you march on the merchant's stall.

Before you buy, let the Forge save you coin: from any paint in your Hoard Desires you can hunt for a cheaper cross-brand equivalent, so a single bottle can stand in for several. When you're ready to shop, export the whole list to a tidy PDF and carry it to the counter — or follow the buy links straight to the marketplace.

How Hoard Desires works

Your Hoard Desires list is a running shopping list of miniature paints you want to buy next. Anywhere a paint appears in the Forge — the Colour Matcher, Full Comparison, Highlights & Shadows, or Colour Harmony — tap the bookmark icon to save it here. It is separate from your Hoard: the Hoard tracks what you already own, while your Hoard Desires list tracks what you still intend to acquire. Saving your Hoard Desires list to your account keeps it in sync across every device, so you can add paints on your computer and pull the list up on your phone at the shop.

Find a cheaper equivalent before you buy

Before spending, let the Forge save you money. From any wishlisted paint you can jump straight to Find Matches and see the closest cross-brand equivalents — often a paint you already own, or a cheaper bottle from another range, can stand in for the colour you had your eye on. A list of Hoard Desires is not just a place to store names; it is a way to buy smarter and avoid duplicate purchases.

Take your list to the shop

When you are ready to buy, export your Hoard Desires to PDF for a clean, printable shopping list you can carry to the counter or check off as you go. You can also follow the buy links beside each paint to head straight to the marketplace. Once a paint is in your hands, use Move to Hoard to mark it owned — it drops off your Hoard Desires list automatically and joins your collection, so your two lists never fall out of step.

What is the difference between Hoard Desires and my Hoard?

Your Hoard is the paints you already own; your Hoard Desires list is the paints you plan to buy. Marking a wishlisted paint as owned moves it to the Hoard and removes it from your Hoard Desires automatically.

How do I add a paint to my Hoard Desires?

Tap the bookmark icon on any paint in the Colour Matcher, Full Comparison, Highlights & Shadows, or Colour Harmony tools. It is saved to your Hoard Desires instantly.

Do I need an account to use Hoard Desires?

Yes. Your Hoard Desires list is saved to your account and synced across your devices, so you need to be signed in with a verified email to build one.

Can I export my Hoard Desires?

Yes. Export your Hoard Desires to a PDF shopping list you can print or take to the store, with the brand, name, code, and hex of every paint you want to buy.

Can Hoard Desires help me save money?

Yes. From any paint in your Hoard Desires, you can find the closest cross-brand equivalents, so you can substitute a cheaper bottle or one you already own instead of buying a duplicate.
